Incident Reports: 3-Foot Chicken Taken From Lawn
Also this week, a man told police he was threatened by a man with a gun.
Crimes and suspicious incidents recently reported to the Southampton Town Police Department:
Petty Larceny
• A Flanders resident reported to police on April 3 that someone took a 3-foot tall, green cast iron chicken from his yard. The chicken, he said is valued at $500. Police have no leads.
Menacing
A Riverside resident told police on April 30 that a man he knows brandished a small black gun, threatened him and then walked away. He told police that the man was driving a 2002, white Cadillac.
Burglary
A Flanders man reported to police that someone broke into his home and took a number of items including jewelry, valued at $5,000; a laptop computer, valued at $1,200; porn DVD's valued at $200; and a save containing $50 worth of baseball cards.
