AQUEBOGUE, NY — Irish eyes were smiling in Aquebogue Thursday at the East End Emerald Society's St. Patrick's Day Parade fundraiser.

The event, held at the Vineyards at Aquebogue, celebrated the grand marshals of this year's Jamesport St. Patrick's Day Parade — Patrick and Joann Waski, as well as aides to the grand marshals Joe Hartmann and Steve McKay.

The fundraiser, which included fun, food and Irish dance, is the event where the grand marshals typically receive their top hats and shillelaghs each year.

This year's Jamesport St. Patrick's Day Parade takes place on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m., rain or shine, on Main Road.
