LI Couple Found Dead From Gunshot Wounds In Apparent Murder/Suicide: Police
He shot his wife to death then killed himself, police say.
JAMESPORT, NY — A Jamesport couple was found dead in a murder/suicide Wednesday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, at about 8:30 p.m., Riverhead Town police responded to a home on Lagoon Court after a call regarding a welfare check.
When officers arrived, they discovered two people dead from gunshot wounds, police said.

An investigation determined that Edward Crohan, 62, killed his wife Stephanie Crohan, 63, and then shot himself to death, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the incident to call the homicide squad at 631-852-6392.
