Here are some things to keep in mind this week:

1. This Monday in Irvington, the Board of Trustees will be acting on several items, including a 2013-14 joint paving project and appointments to the Community Advisory Board and Recreation and Parks Department. View the full agenda for the 7 p.m. session here.

2. Bullying protocol and internet safety are among the items that make up Dobbs Ferry UFSD's Dignity for All Students District Code of Conduct. There will be a public hearing on the Code's revisions at the Board of Education's Tuesday meeting. Find the evening's full agenda here.

3. The Dobbs Ferry Public Library is screening the kid-friendly The Tale of Despereaux from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday. Doors open at 3:45 p.m.

4. Hastings' Planning Board meets on Thursday where it will continue two public hearings and begin a third. Details can be found online here.

5. The Irvington Public Library's final Music & Movement class with Lori Cohen is this Monday at 11 a.m. Toddlers and pre-school age kids and their caregivers are welcome to attend.

6. Some major parkways in lower Westchester will have closures early this week (Monday to Wednesday). Check out a list of times and places before you hit the road here.
