Criminal Mischief on Maple Street

An 87-year-old Dobbs Ferry woman was left wondering whether someone was trying to break into her home or just being mischievous after she found that a glass panel had been broken on the rear first floor door of her Maple Street home between Jan. 17 and Jan. 18. 

The damage was estimated at $50. There were no signs of forced entry into the home, and police are unsure whether the door was old and breaking on its own or if someone intentionally tried to cause criminal mischief or if someone was trying to break into the home.
