Dobbs Ferry Officials Speak Out Against 2 Racist Incidents

One was a call to 911 that a Black father threatened someone at a local park. The other was a swastika painted on a public trash can.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — Two racist incidents led the village of Dobbs Ferry Board of Trustees to condemn all forms of racism and commit to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can feel secure.

The two incidents involved a visitor to the village calling 911 accusing a local Black father of threatening him and his family at the waterfront park and reports of a swastika drawn on a Main Street public trash can, News 12 reported.
