Dobbs Ferry Voters Say 'No' To Cannabis Retail Shops

The vote was allowed because the local law was subject to a permissive referendum.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — Voters in Dobbs Ferry overwhelmingly said no to allowing retail cannabis establishments in the village.

According to unofficial results, 67 percent of registered voters were against the permissive referendum, with 33 percent voting for it.

In December, village trustees adopted a local law that rescinded the prohibition against establishing marijuana retail shops in Dobbs Ferry that had been decided the previous year.
