Empire Players Had July 'Hot Streak' With Jackpots Totaling Over $4M
There were four six-figure winners and 178 players who walked away with prizes of $10,000 or more this month.

Visitors to Empire City Casino have also been on something of a hot streak. In July, players have won over $4 million in jackpots, with the largest valued over $171,000 and 178 jackpots over $10,000, according to Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts officials.
"There are always a lot of winners at Empire City and it’s fun to see the slots proving to be as hot as the heatwaves we’ve been facing this July," Empire's Taryn Duffy said. "We can expect this trend to continue in August as there are many more six-figure jackpots still up for grabs, as well as the Wheel of Fortune jackpot that’s nearing two million dollars."

Lucky winners of four six-figure jackpots in July included $171,639.53 on Light & Wonder Golden Fire Link; $123,432.11 on Light & Wonder Ultimate Fire Link Explosion; $102,024.97 on IGT Wheel of Fortune; and $100,012.00 on Light & Wonder Double Jackpot Wild. Another six guests won jackpots valued between $40,000 and $85,000, according to the casino.

The future winner of the nearly $2 million Wheel of Fortune Triple Stars jackpot will join the Empire City "Millionaires Club," whose most recent member is Leo of Yonkers who took home a jackpot of $1.088 million.
According to the casino, the highest jackpot on record at Empire City is held by Theresa P. of Ossining, with a $2,919,162 win. She also has the distinction of being the sole two-time member of the Millionaire Club, having hit a jackpot of $1,469,368 just a few months after her nearly $3 million win.
