Ex-Boyfriend Arrested for Trespassing

Hastings-on-Hudson Police arrested a 22-year-old, whose last known residence was in the village, for allegedly sneaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house on Oct. 14

The ex-girlfriend reported that her ex-boyfriend allegedly entered her home between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., while she was away with her parents, through an inadequately locked rear door. However, the ex-boyfriend allegedly fled after he realized that her brother was home.

Police said the 22-year-old had been warned not to come by the house before and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Police arrested him on Oct. 17 and charged him with criminal trespassing in the second degree, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned and bail was set at $500.

Since he couldn’t make bail he was sent to Westchester County Jail and was given a date to return to court.
