Fraudulent Check Reported at Irvington Schools

- An employee of the Irvington School District reported that someone attempted to cash a fraudulent check for $990.88 of the school district’s funds on Dec. 28. Since the bank recognized the fraud, the school district was not responsible for footing the $990.88 cost. The incident was reported on Dec. 3. The incident is currently under investigation.
- A resident of Palliser Road reported that their mailbox and post had been stolen between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Jan. 1. The incident was reported around 2:55 p.m. that day.
