Hastings Police Ticket Would-Be Pool Trespasser
Hastings Police said a car full of Yonkers teens fled the area after reportedly planning to go to the pool after hours.

While patrolling the area surrounding the Chemka Pool early last Wednesday morning, police reported spotting a vehicle driving up the road by the pool without headlights.
Police attempted to pull over the car at about 2:41 a.m., but it reportedly continued to drive away from the area and ran two stop signs, eventually stopping on Ravensdale Road near Rosedale Avenue.
The driver, an 18-year-old Yonkers resident, was issued six tickets for failing to stop at the stop signs, failure to signal left, failure to sign right, an unsafe start and unsafe backing up.
Police said the driver and passengers admitted to police they were planning to meet another group of friends and trespass at the pool.
