Hastings Yellow Jacket Booster Club Installs Scoreboard at Burke
The Burke Estate Field is sporting a brand new scoreboard for the 2012-13 school year thanks to the Hastings Yellow Jacket Booster Club.
The Hastings Yellow Jacket Booster Club, a non-profit corporation formed in 2010 to raise money and support for athletes of the Hastings-on-Hudson School District, raised about $15,000 during their first Casino Night in December 2011 to pay for the board and its installation.
The next casino night is scheduled for Dec. 1.
“Based on the ‘buzz’ around town, we are expecting this year’s event to be even more successful,” said Bob Wilt, president of the Hastings Yellow Jacket Booster Club.
