Indoor pickleball business seeks permission to open on Central Ave at former Buy Buy Baby location

An exciting new recreation business on Central Ave near Shoprite

A NEW INDOOR PICKLEBALL BUSINESS PROPOSED ON CENTRAL AVE

The Town of Greenburgh has a wide variety of indoor private recreation uses, including membership gyms, golf simulators, ice skating, taekwondo, karate, yoga/pilates studios, etc. An exciting new proposal has recently been submitted for a vacant space (formerly occupied by Buy Buy Baby - 1019 Central Park Avenue South, in the Edgemont portion of the Town) and includes a retrofit to a pickelball facility. Known as the Picklr, the space would include eight year-round use indoor courts. The proposal requires a special permit from the Planning Board and will be before the Board later this year.

These recreation facilities are enhancing residents’ quality of life and helping to make our business districts a destination point for people who normally may not shop or visit Central Ave businesses. This is great for our business district and a fantastic addition to the town. Very excited!
