Police: Man Arrested for 46 Bags of Weed

The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested a 25-year-old on Jan. 4 for allegedly having 46 bags of pot. The Yonkers resident was pulled over during a traffic stop on S. Buckhout Street around 9:50 p.m.
After a short-term investigation of suspicious activity in his car, he was arrested for allegedly driving without a license and having the bags of dried plant leaves, as well as scales and other marijuana packing devices, police said.

- criminal possession of marijuana, a fifth degree misdemeanor
- criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a second-degree misdemeanor
- aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a third degree misdemeanor
The 25-year-old was released on $250 bail and must return to court on Jan. 28.
