Correction: Pregnant Teen Arrested for Assault

A 17-year old Graham School resident was allegedly punched and kicked by two other students, one who is pregnant, that tried to rob her on Oct. 21.
An off-duty Yonkers police officer called Hastings-on-Hudson police to report a fight at the entrance of the school, at 1 S. Broadway, around 4:32 p.m. When police arrived they found the 17-year-old teen who said she was allegedly assaulted and robbed of $10 by two other students while waiting at the bus stop in front of the school.
She was taken to Dobbs Ferry Hospital for a slight laceration to the left eye and swelling of her arm and hand. Two female students, aged 16 and 17, were arrested for the alleged crime and charged with assault and robbery in the second degree, both felonies.Â

They were arraigned and bail was posted at $5,000 for the 16-year-old and $15,000 for the 17-year-old, who is pregnant. Unable to make bail, the girls were taken to Westchester County Jail and must return back to village court.Â
