Purse Snatched in Grocery Store Lot

Police are searching for a suspect who snatched an 83-year-old Dobbs Ferry woman’s purse on Dec. 7 around 3:37 p.m.
The victim told police that a tall man in a grey sweat suit grabbed her purse out of her shopping cart outside the Stop & Shop in Dobbs Ferry’s northeast exit near Esterwood Avenue. The suspect then fled in the direction of Walgrove Avenue.
The Hastings-on-Hudson and Westchester County Police were called to assist with the search for suspect, however police were unable to locate him. Police are still investigating the incident
