Rider Ditches Cab Fare in Irvington

This report was derived from information from the Irvington Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A New York City taxi cab driver reported to police on Jan. 17 at 1:17 a.m. that a rider skipped out on his $75 fare.

The driver picked up a 20-year-old white male, wearing a black leather jacket and a Yankee baseball hat, from 125th Street in New York City and brought him to Harriman Road and Meadow Way when the rider fled without paying.

A credit card was left in the backseat of the cab, and police are investigating whether or not it is stolen.
