
If your kids know more about QR codes than you do, here’s their chance to combine fashion with online fun – in a safe way.
Tammy and Brad Lewis, who live in Ardsley, started SkanzJr. in 2011, selling silicon bracelets with codes that kids age 7 through 12 can scan to go directly to their own webpage.
Their page, offering no identifying information, gets personalized when they choose a title for themselves, an avatar, their favorite music videos, answer big questions like “pancakes or waffles,” and then share with their friends and family.

A range of colored bracelets can be ordered online or at various toy stores. Then it’s free to get online with their secret code and get started on their websites.
"Kids want in on the QR code scene and SkanzJr delivers more than just the magic of scanning and decoding a retailer's promotional code.
