Route 100 Lane Closures In Greenburgh, White Plains

The closures are expected to last through April.

GREENBURGH, NY — The state Department of Transportation said motorists should be advised that the right lanes on the northbound and southbound sides of Route 100 in the vicinity of the intersection with Route 119 (Tarrytown Road) in the town of Greenburgh and City of White Plains, are expected to be closed beginning this week, and remain closed until Friday, April 27, while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and plan accordingly.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
