Suspects At Large In Gunpoint Mugging After Group Dropped Off By An Uber
Police say the victims may have been followed home from a Westchester bar.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — Police say that the victims of an early morning armed robbery might have been targeted by their attackers.
Early Sunday morning, around 4 a.m., Dobbs Ferry Police Department officers were called to Beacon Hill Drive after receiving a report of a gunpoint robbery.
The victims were being dropped off by an Uber vehicle when they were approached by three suspects.

Police say it is believed the suspects followed the Uber vehicle from a bar in Yonkers.
One of the suspects had a black firearm and the suspects forcibly removed valuables from the victims, according to police. One victim sustained a minor injury from being struck by one of the suspects.

The suspects then fled the scene in a silver Honda Accord Sport, bearing New Jersey registration N64UTA, according to police.
Soon after the vehicle information was relayed to surrounding agencies, the suspect vehicle was spotted traveling south on the Saw Mill River Parkway by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety (WCDPS). After an attempt by the WCDPS to stop the vehicle, the driver failed to comply, and the officer ultimately lost sight of the vehicle, authorities said.
The vehicle was last seen on camera traveling south on I-87 in Yonkers.
The agency contacted New Jersey State Police to verify the license plate, but found out that the plate number is not on file, indicating a fake plate may be affixed to the vehicle.
One suspect was described by the victims as a Black male, around 5'10", with a skinny build, short dreadlock style hair, and wearing a grey Nike track suit. He was accompanied by a Black male, around 6'2", with a skinny build, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and a black ski mask.
The victims were not able to give a description of the driver.
At this time, police say there is no known ongoing threat to the community. The Dobbs Ferry Police Department is investigating the crime and asks that anyone who may have witnessed the robbery contact police at 914-693-5500.
