Suspicious Man on High School Trail; Theft

- Dobbs Ferry High School staff reported a suspicious man on the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail behind the school on Oct. 9 around 12:44 p.m. When police arrived they found a 41-year-old Newburgh man who was charged him with public urination and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations. He was given tickets to return to court on Oct. 25.
- A 23-year-old Cedar Street resident reported on Oct. 10 that an Xbox 360 that was delivered to him had been stolen from the vestibule of his apartment building between 1:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Xbox was valued at $212.50.
- A 44-year-old Bronx resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her bag while she was at a Main Street restaurant between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Oct. 11. The victim called in the theft at 4:15 p.m. and said that she was missing an $88 Fossil wallet, checks and seven credit cards. There were four to five purchases made on her American Express card for $300, a $250 charge to her Chase Business Card and $351 charged to her debit card after the theft. The purchases were made in the Stamford area of Connecticut.
