Tarrytown, NY (October 2024) – The Taco Project, the popular Mexican-inspired restaurant with five locations (and more to come) is hosting a month-long celebration in honor of its 10th anniversary. The Taco Project is an eight-time “Best of Westchester” winner known for its delicious food; fresh, high-quality ingredients; and fun atmosphere.

The Taco Project opened its first location in Tarrytown, NY in October 2014, followed by locations in Yonkers in 2017, Bronxville in 2019, and Pleasantville in 2021. The newest location opened in Stamford, CT in 2022, and is perfect for locals looking for a quick, tasty lunch or dinner or those looking to cater private parties or corporate events. In addition to The Taco Project’s catering services, which are available at all locations, a new food truck is now delivering delicious tacos and other tasty treats on the go. Soon, The Taco Project will be opening up another location in New Rochelle.

With a commitment to using only the freshest ingredients, all Taco Project restaurants offer a wide array of mouth-watering tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, churros, margaritas, and other Mexican-inspired favorites. The Taco Project has options for everyone, including vegan and vegetarian selections, all served in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

Taco Project founders Nick Mesce, Sebastian Aliberti, and Carmelo Milio are all Westchester natives with a long history together, going all the way back to high school. Mesce has years of experience in the restaurant industry, and Aliberti and Milio have expertise in the business world. With this bedrock of longstanding friendship and combination of skills – plus a love of good food – The Taco Project was born.

According to Mesce, the most popular items on the menus at The Taco Project are steak tacos, burritos, and bowls. The birria (slow-cooked beef brisket) tacos are also a big hit with customers – but Mesce says his personal favorite is the battered fish tacos.
