Thief Hits Up Two Cars in 50 Livingstone Lot

This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 46-year-old Valhalla man reported that $700 and credit cards were removed from his wallet, which he found on the floor of his car parked in the lot at 50 Livingstone Ave. on Aug. 30.

He couldn’t remember whether or not he locked his car, but did say he saw a suspicious looking person driving a dark colored sedan through the parking lot passing spots by.  There did not appear to be any forced entry to the car.

A 16-year-old Dobbs Ferry resident reported a theft in the same lot around the same time between 11:30 a.m. and 12:26 p.m. Her car, however, had damage to the front passenger side window. The teen reported that $20 in cash, a driver’s license, and wallet and purse valued at $70 stolen.
