1. At Dobbs Ferry's 7:30 p.m. Tuesday Board of Trustees meeting, agenda items include awarding a bid for waterfront upland improvements, discussing a veterans memorial for the Little White Church Cemetery and more. The full agenda can be found here.
2. Irvington's Planning Board is meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Irvington Public Library. View the agenda. The Board of Trustees will also be meeting for a 7 p.m. work session at Village Hall.
3. This week in Hastings, the Board of Trustees will entertain a resolution to to study the feasibility of consolidating its Department of Public Works with Dobbs Ferry. Read the rest of Tuesday's agenda here. Other village meetings this week include the Architectural Review Board Monday at 8 p.m. and the Recreation Commission Thursday at 8 p.m.
4. Storytelling and yoga come together for kids ages four to seven with a special program at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. Yogi Elisha Simpson, CKYT, will lead the event. Register in advance by calling the library at 693-6614, by stopping in at the circulation desk or click here to sign up online.
5. Staying indoors during the late afternoon is one way to minimize your chances of getting mosquito bites this summer. After a batch of mosquitoes with West Nile Virus was found in southern Westchester last week, officials are cautioning locals to be aware.
