She told Patch that Westchester boasts such a vibrant, active and diverse Jewish community, and offers so many ways to get involved.

“It is rare that we have the opportunity to bring everyone together, (re)connect with one another across backgrounds, beliefs, affiliations, etc., and celebrate our shared cultural heritage,” Jacobs said.

Organizers said that entertainment will feature Neshama Carlebach, special guests The Liz Queler Band and Urban Garage, plus The Levins and Israeli Dancing with Leng.

There will also be free face painting, juggler Ned Gelfars, kosher food vendors, arts and crafts and more.

The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed.

Admission and parking are free. Carpooling or taking mass transit is encouraged.

The Jewish Music & Arts Festival is co-sponsored by Westchester County Parks and The Westchester Jewish Council.
