X2O Xaviars On The Hudson Quietly Closes After 16 Years
The iconic Hudson riverside fine dining restaurant where Hudson Valley residents celebrated their milestones has closed its doors.

YONKERS, NY — The "it" place to celebrate special occasions in the Hudson Valley is no longer.
In a statement released Friday, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced the closure of X20 Xaviars on the Hudson, located at the Yonkers City Pier.
"As of September 29, Yonkers-famed restaurant X20 Xaviars on the Hudson ended its 20-year license with the City of Yonkers and closed its doors," Spano said. "X20, owned and operated by Yonkers-own Peter Kelly, has been a mainstay along the Yonkers waterfront and has played a significant role in the area’s revitalization. We thank Peter for his commitment and investment to his hometown and wish him well in the next chapter of his professional career."

The mayor added that the city expects to announce an agreement with the property’s new licensee in the near future.
"Looking ahead, we are eager to announce an agreement with a premier 5-star seafood restaurant that will take over the City Pier property and open in summer 2025," Spano said.
