2 Men Robbed Baldwin Smoke Shop At Gunpoint

BALDWIN, NY — Nassau County police are searching for two men who they say robbed a smoke shop in Baldwin at gunpoint Thursday night.

According to police, the two men entered Sam Smoke and Tobacco Smoke Shop, located at 768 Merrick Road, at 8:10 p.m. They approached an employee, and one of the men pointed a handgun at him, demanding money. The employee complied, and the two men fled the scene on foot with cash.

The robbers are described as black men in their mid-twenties, 5 feet, 9 inches tall with average builds.

The employee was the only other person in the store at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.
