Crime Watch: Yale Place Home Burglarized for $17K
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrest:
On April 5 at 8:35 p.m., Christopher R. Rapp, 30, of Island Park, was arrested for disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel on Quealy Place in Rockville Centre.

On April 8 at 7:42 p.m., Neil H. Ackerman, 55, of Rockville Centre was arrested for second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct following an investigation by police personnel on Locust Avenue in Rockville Centre.
On April 6 at 8:43 p.m., Raheem M. Harvey, 29, of Brooklyn, was arrested for petit larceny and a bench warrant for driving while intoxicated following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On April 7 at 4:11 a.m., Kristina Soda, 35, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
Larceny:
On April 2 at 10:05 a.m., a complainant from N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between April 1 at 10 p.m. and April 2 at 9 a.m., unknown person(s) stole property including an iPod, driver license, cash card, and $20 from his unlocked motor vehicle parked in the driveway.
On April 3 at 9:30 a.m., a complainant from Stonehenge Road in Rockville Centre reported that on April 2 sometime between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a Canon digital camera and approximately $5 in coins from her unlocked motor vehicle parked in the driveway.
On April 5 at 7:45 p.m., a complainant from Yale Place in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Nov. 22 and March 29, unknown person(s) stole $16,900 currency from his residence.
On April 4 at 2:45 p.m., complainant owner from Janowski’s, located at 15 S. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre, reported that an employee was observed on a surveillance video stealing a $50 from the store register on April 3 at 11:03 a.m.
On April 4 at 6:45 p.m., three student complainants from South Side Middle School, located at 67 Hillside Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole their Apple iPhones while attending school. The stolen property was recovered from two SSMS students following an investigation by police personnel at the school.
On April 5 at 10:25 p.m., a complainant from Lincoln Court in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between April 4 at 7:30 a.m. and April 5 at 8 p.m., unknown person(s) stole his Red Boost cell phone and charger from his apartment.
On April 7 at 9:10 p.m., a complainant from Driscoll Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that his 2010 Hyundai was stolen from his driveway sometime between 7:49 p.m. and 8:49 p.m.
