Girls Springs Sports Honors Handed Out

South Side High School had 19 female student-athletes from the spring sports season honored for their extraordinary play.

Here are the ladies who took home some hardware:

Track & Field

• Nassau County High Jump Champion — Elizabeth Textor.
• All Division —  Lauren McDonough, Alannah O’Rourke, Cathryn Ryan and Elizabeth Textor.

Varsity Lacrosse

• All County — Dana Ahern, Jacqueline Cifarelli and Kelsey Gregerson.
• All County Honorable Mention — Emily Considine and Michaela Lynch.
• All Conference — Kendall Gough and Grace Healey.
• Nassau County Scholar Athlete — Dana Ahern.
• Up for All-American consideration — Kelsey Gregerson.

Varsity Softball

• All County — Lauren Lopresti.
• All Division — Jane Dragovich and Antonia Modica.           
• All Conference — Samantha Maselli.
• MVP — Lauren Lopresti
