Inclusive New RVC Playground Named For Late Recreation Supervisor

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — A new playground in Rockville Centre, named after the village's longtime recreation supervisor, Anthony Brunetta, is open.

Mr. B's Playground, located at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center, is an inclusive playground with a sensory dome. Brunetta passed away in 2016

Children will also find play structures with ramps at the North Oceanside Road facility.

State funding also allowed for multiple upgrades to Centennial Park, where the playground sits, including new ADA-compliant restrooms, LED lighting and a new walking track.

Mr. B's Playground was completed at no cost to taxpayers, the village said.

The pickleball, tennis and basketball courts have also been updated.
