July 1: House Hunt and Baseball Academy

Thank goodness it's Friday! The weekend is finally here, so as you plan out how you're spending it, let us tell you what's happening in and around the village so you can start your weekend off right.

4. The Rec Center's 36th Annual Baseball School is offering top-notch instruction by Bob Hirshfield and staff from NY Tech, starting today from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The daily instructional program will stress the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding and base-running. Players will select and take part in daily position workshops, while learning proper technique in the areas of pitching, infield and catching.

The price for RVC residents is $315 for nine sessions. Flyers are available online or at the Rec Center Office.
