Nassau County Residents Get 'Treat' As Spirit Halloween Opens 4 Locations

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — While we're still basking in the hot weather, it's not too soon to plan for Halloween.

Spirit Halloween is taking over several Nassau County spaces in the weeks leading up to the holiday parties and trick-or-treaters hitting the neighborhoods.

The Halloween-themed store opened this week at Broadway Commons, located at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville, and at Sunrise Promenade in Sunrise Mall in Massapequa, a Spirit Halloween spokesperson told Patch.

Two other locations launched last week:

• Bethpage, 3974 Hempstead Turnpike
• East Meadow, 2000 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow Plaza

The retail giant generally opens stores in September and keeps them open until Nov. 1.

Spirit Halloween stores offer a variety of costumes, decorations, animatronics and accessories, plus an expanding selection of themed home decor, keeping Halloween going year-round.

According to its website, Spirit Halloween is the largest Halloween retailer in the country, with more than 1,500 seasonal locations in strip centers and malls across North America.
