'Thanks For Giving' Food Drive Combats Food Insecurity On Long Island
King Kullen is teaming up with WALK 97.5 FM to make sure no Long Islanders go hungry this holiday season.
NASSAU COUNTY, NY — Thanksgiving season is upon us and King Kullen is giving back to those in need.
The Long Island supermarket chain and WALK 97.5 FM are hosting the annual "Thanks for Giving Food Drive" each weekend in November leading up to Thanksgiving.
King Kullen is collecting food at nine locations, including the four in Nassau County: Bellmore, Bethpage, Rockville Centre and Wantagh, for Long Island Cares.

The collection drive runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting on Nov. 2 and concludes on Nov. 24 in Patchogue.
King Kullen in Bay Shore, Huntington, Lindenhurst and Manorville, will also host the drive.
