Road Work Resumes In Rockville Centre Next Week
The nighttime construction will take place on Hempstead Avenue.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Residents should be alerted to the latest on ongoing road work in Rockville Centre.
Nassau County will start an asphalt project on Hempstead Avenue on Monday.
On Oct. 21 and 22, milling will take place, with paving to follow on Wednesday and Thursday. Due to schools on Hempstead Avenue, work will take place at night.

Construction is subject to change and is weather permitted.
"While this is not [a] village project, we remain committed to communicating with residents and will do our best to provide information as it is received," the village posted on its website.

Separately, on Hampshire Road, asphalt work is expected on Oct. 28. The road will remain open, but cars should not park from 7 a.m. until the work is completed.
