Search Ongoing For Missing Hempstead-Bound 75-Year-Old: Police
The man was reported missing Tuesday just before 1 a.m., police say.
HEMPSTEAD, NY. — A 75-year-old man was reported missing Tuesday morning after he was last seen at 7 p.m. Monday night, police said.

Nassau County police said 75-year-old Nathaniel Mitchell had last been seen leaving a Queens residence in a white 2020 Chevy Malibu with New York registration KZL6615. Police described Mitchell as a Black man standing 6-feet-tall, weighing 220 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket with a Marine Corps logo on it, a grey shirt and a Marine Corps hat, police said.

Police have requested that anyone with information on Mitchell's whereabouts contact the missing persons squad at 516-573-7347, or call 911.
