Woman Suffers Stab Wounds To Face, Arm In Nassau: Police
Ivan Cullins is charged in connection to the Thursday afternoon incident, police said.

INWOOD, NY — A Roosevelt man was arrest for a Thursday afternoon stabbing in Inwood, police said.
Police responded to a disturbance in front of a Mott Avenue residence. A woman, 42, was on the ground with a cut to her face and arm, police said.
She was taken a nearby hospital as is listed in stable condition, police said.

An investigation determined Ivan Cullins, 56, was involved in an earlier disturbance that escalated into stabbing and slashing the victim with a knife, police said.
He was located a short time later and placed into custody without incident.

Cullins is charged with second-degree attempted murder, second-degree assault, second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
He was expected to be arraigned on Friday.
