Blind Brook Grad Wins Award for Toilet Paper Ad Business
Bryan and Jordan Silverman were named College Entrepreneur of 2012 by College Entrepreneur magazine.
Blind Brook graduate and current Duke University student won College Entrepreneur of 2012 in Entrepreneur magazine's annual contest.Â
Silverman’s business is toilet paper. He and his brother Jordan saw an opportunity for advertising in the bathroom. So, the two used $1,000 to create Star Toilet Paper, which uses vegetable oil-based ink to print coupons on toilet paper.
They plan to use the magazine’s $5,000 prize to revamp their website, which will allow clients to track who is redeeming their coupons and customers to download and print a coupon rather than bringing a square of TP into a store, according to Entrepreneur.
