Burglar Tries to Steal Liquor from Club; Stolen Bicycle

Burglar Out of Luck at Manursing Island Club

A burglar attempted to steal liquor from the pool bar area of Manursing Island Club, but was out of luck as the bottles have already been removed from the pool area, police said. The attempted burglar basically just kicked in a door, police said. The incident was reported to police on Oct. 4 at 1:27 p.m. No arrests were made.

Bicycle Reported Stolen

A resident of Grandview Ave. reported that his bicycle was stolen from his garage some time between Oct. 3 and Oct. 7. Police filed a larceny report on the matter.
