RYE BROOK, NY — Time is running out to visit a local retail institution before they close their doors for good.

"Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Plaza and South, sadly announce the closing of beloved fixture Dusty Rose who has been a staple in the lives of countless woman for almost 35 years," landlord Win Properties announced in a statement released on Tuesday. "They plan to close around the first week of July."

The shop will be open for a couple more weeks, which is plenty of time to wish the longtime area business the best (and shop them at the sidewalk sale).

"I've had over 34 wonderful years at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center. Thank you for a great run," Dusty Rose's Michael Zell said.

For those who have grown accustomed to the personal service and selection at Dusty Rose, they still have the slightly less convenient option of visiting their New City boutique.

"The Shopping Center will not be the same without Dusty Rose," Rye Ridge leasing agent Erin Hinchey said of the departure. "We are most appreciative to have had their presence and their service to the community these last 35 years. We wish them the best.”
