• 27 'Laughing Gas' Canisters, Unresponsive Driver Behind Wheel Of Car Stopped On Sidewalk: Police (patch.com) — Rye police say a Norwalk, Connecticut man was found unresponsive behind the wheel of a running car stopped on the Forest Avenue sidewalk near Beck Avenue, then failed field sobriety tests. Officers report recovering 27 nitrous oxide canisters from his vehicle, and he now faces drug-impaired driving and traffic charges in Rye City Court early next month.
   

• Victim In Deadly I-95 Crash ID'd As 89-Year-Old Rye Woman (patch.com) — An 89-year-old Rye woman, Jill Newmark Haskel, has been identified by Connecticut State Police as the victim of a three-car crash on I-95 southbound near Exit 3 in Greenwich. She died at Greenwich Hospital after her vehicle struck another car and rolled, while the other two drivers, from Purdy and Greenwich, were uninjured as the investigation continues.
