Lee Woodruff Shares Favorite Rye Spots: Andy's Pure Food and Patisserie Salzburg

Rye resident and author Lee Woodruff tells Serendipity Social her favorite spots in Rye and why she and husband Bob Woodruff decided to live here.

Local Rye resident Lee Woodruff is featured in the new July/August issue ofΒ SerendipityΒ magazine, now on newsstands.Β Reporter Holly Parmelee took a local spin on the interview, asking Lee the following:

S: Β How did did you end up in Rye?
LW: Β "Bob has crazy early hours, so the commute was an important factor. Β The schools were crucial to our decision because we have a hearing-impaired daughter and needed the right services. Β We also felt that if you could live in a charming town with a small-town feel by the water, why wouldn't you?"

S: Β What are your favorite places in Rye?
LW: Β "Andy's Pure Food – it's a juice bar and vegans restaurant. Β It would make anybody want to be vegan! Β I also love Patisserie Salzburg. Β The owner is an Austrian pastry chef and he has an amazing breakfast and real, European coffee…..The Rye Grill & Bar is fun, and that's where I go with family when I don't feel like cooking."
