Mixology Clothing Company Will Move To Grow, But They Aren't Going Far

RYE BROOK, NY — Mixology is headed to the changing room to find a better fit, but the popular store's relocation and expansion plans aren't expected to interrupt the coming holiday shopping spree.

The Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Plaza and South have announced that Mixology Clothing Company, which specializes in mixing and matching high-end designer pieces with lower-priced clothing, will be expanding into the location previously occupied by Ruby & Jenna. The owners of Mixology say that they have been bursting out of their current 1200-square-foot store and have wished to expand for several years. The new location will offer almost 2000 square feet. They plan to open in the new spacethis winter, with the current location open until then.

Mixology is headed by brother-sister team, Jordan Edwards, CEO and Gabrielle Edwards, President & Head Buyer. Their mission from the beginning has been to inspire confidence through handpicked, affordable fashion. Gabrielle Edwards started working in retail when she was 13 years old and says that she quickly learned this is what she was born to do. Founded in 2009, with the help of their family, the siblings were able to grow Mixology into 15 brick and mortar locations and a popular website.

"Since Mixology opened here in the summer of 2012 they have embraced the Rye Ridge community and have become an integral part of their lives," Erin Hinchey, Leasing Agent for Rye Ridge, said. "Our shoppers are very loyal to them and I am very excited to announce this expansion. I have been working with them on it for some time."

The Rye Ridge Shopping Center, Plaza & South are located at Ridge & Bowman Avenues in Rye Brook.
