More Than 1,000 Lost Power in Rye Area

About 1,200 households are without power in the Rye area as of 5:45 p.m. Monday, according to the Con Edison power outage map. The areas with the largest outages are reported below:

• 246 without power near Playland Parkway, estimated restoration time 10 p.m. Monday.
• 293 without power near Midland Avenue, estimated restoration time pending.
• 163 off Orchard Ave., wires down, 10 p.m. Monday.
• 107 off Maple Ave., estimated restoration time pending. 
• 259 off Forest Ave., building outage, estimated restoration time pending. 
• 268 off Highfield Road, partial outage, estimated restoration time pending.
