A road crew will be making critical repairs on Purchase Street at the intersection of Smith Street Monday, July 15, so expect delays in downtown Rye, officials say. The work will begin at 6 a.m.

The Department of Public Works will be performing critical road repair on Purchase Street at the intersection of Smith Street beginning at 6:00 AM Monday, July 15, 2013.
Northbound traffic will be permitted on Purchase Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured at Elm Place, returning to Purchase Street at Locust Avenue.
Smith Street will be closed between the parking lot entrance and Purchase Street.
Work is expected to completed on Monday.
Please expect some delays and plan accordingly. We thank you for your cooperation.
