Rye city police issued a ticket to a driver for texting while driving on Peck Avenue and Station Plaza on Jan. 16 at 12:16 p.m.

Unwanted, Unknown Phone Calls

A resident reported that unknown people were calling his phone numerous times during the day to Rye city police on Jan. 16 at 5:40 p.m.

 Disoriented Male

A Central Avenue resident reported a party on his block and stated a male appeared disoriented on Jan. 18 at 7:29 a.m.

 Prank Phone Call

A Parkway Drive resident stated they received a strange call referring to someone coming to get them. It was a prank call from a friend and all was ok.

 Threatening Text Messages

 Police received a report of a sister-in-law sending threatening text messages on Jan. 20 at 12:02 p.m.
