Rye Brook Child Performs in Westchester Broadway Theatre’s ‘Oliver’

Rye Brook’s nine-year-old Oliva Lombardi is once again bringing her talents to the Westchester Broadway Theatre in their current production of Oliver. Lomabrardi will be signing and acting as a boy in "Fagin's gang" alongside Harrison resident Brandon Singel, who plays Oliver.

Lombardi has been performing and singing ever since she uttered her first words, her mother Lisa said. She has performed in Miracle on 34th Street at the Westchester Broadway Theatre last December, and has played the main character in several youth theater performances over the years. She is a member of the Broadway Youth Ensemble, lead by coach Amelia DeMayo, who also coaches “X-Factor” finalist and local celebrity Carly Rose Soneclar.

Olivia plays a child ensemble member in Oliver, which started its run Saturday, Aug. 17 and runs for the next three weeks. The show sold out its first four shows and tickets are still going for the other. In total, the theater will put on 25 performances.
