
Shakespeare in The Park
Port Chester Council for the Arts presents LawnChair Theater, a Shakespeare production in the park, this weekend with a Mad Men-inspired performance of “The Taming of the Shrew.” They will perform in Rye Town Park on Aug. 2 and in Crawford Park on Aug. 3, Bedford Village Memorial Park in Bedford on Aug. 4. Next weekend they’ll be in Lyon Park Aug. 8 and 9 and Pine Ridge Park in Rye Brook Aug. 10. Rain date for Rye Town Park and Pine Ridge Park is August 11.

At The Cap: God Street Wine

Miriam’s Attic Reopens Saturday
The Osborn has just finished renovating Miriam’s Attic to better handle inventory and serve its customers and this Saturday they are having their August Saturday Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Tuesday, Aug. 6 they will have an official Grand Reopening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They have renovated an area in the back room to provide more storage space, moved a few pieces around and spruced things up in the process, Fund Development Coordinator Susan Olson said. Check it out on Saturday or next Tuesday.
Miriam's will also be open Saturday, Sept. 7 and Oct. 5.
There is a free fireworks show at Rye Playland every Wednesday and Fridayat 9:15 this month. Parking fees apply. Details here.
The Milt Gerver Orchestra will play a free concert at Playland on Friday, July 26. Details here. They play Aug. 2 as well from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
