Police officer Compagnone reported a male wearing all black checking car doors on U.S. 1 in front of Milton Road homes on April 28 at 1 a.m. He canvassed the area and saw a man run away when he approached. approached. All vehicles in the immediate area seemed to be in order and the man could not be found.

 Car Damaged While at Rye Y

A caller reported her car was damaged while at the Rye YMCA on April 28 at 6:23 p.m. Police waited for the Rye Y to review cameras during business hours in order to file the report. 

Unauthorized Credit Card Use

A Dearborn Avenue resident reported that an unkown party used an unauthorized credit card on April 25 at 5:31 p.m.

Police provided extra patrol of Mackenzie Electrical Contractors due to previous grand larcenies on April 24 at 12:40 a.m.

Lights Out at Playland

Police Officer Golmez reported that Playland Parkway and Thomas Keane Plaza was completely dark, no lights on anywhere, on April 25 at 1:03 a.m. Rye police notified County police.

Assist Port Chester Police with Burglary Report

Rye police assisted PCPD with securing a perimeter for a burglary suspect on April 25 at 2:44 a.m.

Fraud

Police received a report of unknown cash withdrawals from a checking account at Citibank on April 29 at 3:44 p.m.

Missing Jewelry at Osborn Reported

The family of a deceased party reported missing jewelry from the Osborn Home on April 30.
