LONG ISLAND, NY — Prosecutors revealed the Long Island man snuck into a 74-year-old woman's apartment, knowing she lived alone, and held her face and neck "in a chokehold" and raping her at the unsealing of an indictment on Wednesday, News 12 reported.
It is alleged that Jawarren Booker threw the small and frail woman to the ground and warned her not to tell anyone about the attack, but she alerted a neighbor, and the police department was called, the outlet reported.
Booker, who was arrested several days later in the Bronx after an extended search, is being held without bail, according to the outlet.
