“From our view, every week should be school bus safety week because our charge is to always keep our students and staff safe,” Hiawatha Elementary School Principal Joe Watson said.
The Thumbs Up campaign puts a focus on students, encouraging them to make the right choices and follow instructions from their bus drivers to keep themselves and their peers safe. BusPatrol has developed educational content including animated videos and activity books that were distributed to students at Hiawatha as part of the launch.
